Bought my self a Kar98 TM VSR/Doys conversion, from our very own greedo1980 on here.
Damn it look goods.
Have seen that rifle first hand, it's a beauty! 
Managed to get a pair of FJ jump trousers from ANT-Z military on ebay for £45 all in, get in. Missed the postman delivering my new Type 2 Splinter b jump smock from Spearhead ( I hate work some days). Just need to find a cheap Kar 98 bayonet or scabbard so I can get a rubber bayonet from feldworks. My FJ riflemans kit is coming together very nicely. 
I'm on a roll, just managed to get 3 TM VSR mag's for 20 green sheets inc postage and paypal. 
Armoury: AGM MP40, AGM Sten MkII, K98K/vsr and Maruzen P38.
Sorting all my ww2 gear out, taken me 3 hours so far! never realized I had soooo much gear 
got a few bits of kit Im putting up later in the sale section
Today I am going to Tatton Park classic car show with jeep and M3 AT gun, may go Sunday as well.

Today I looked for my Kar98 trigger guard that I lost. Didn't find it.
Had to lose it right when I have just almost finished converting it too.Found it!
Did you stop looking for it? I've found looking for something else can be effective.
e.g. I couldn't find a repro MP40 muzzle nut I'd made several months ago. I stopped looking for it, and went looking for the mandrel I'd made to help knurl it, so I could make a new one. The original was in the box with the mandrel. 
I find a good nights sleep works wonders when you are either looking for a thing or trying to work something out, I think your brain keeps working on the problem at some level and the next day all is right with the world and you have your answer 
In any case it is better than turning the house upside down or pulling your hair out

Continued to blanco my webbing and painted my face mask It now looks like I have had extensive plastic surgery which is no bad thing

Did most of my packing for Il Gigio, as always there seems to be far too much stuff. Do I really need two tents?
Cleaned the brass and then soaked a load of 37 pattern webbing in a bucket and scrubbed all the old blanco off. Funny how I enjoy doing stuff like that.

Good stuff. I actually need to find somewhere to perform the conversion- I live with my girlfriend in her mum's partner's flat and don't want to make a mess of the place as he's trying to sell it. Though the carpets are a bit shit...
I just took over the kitchen table like I usually do 
draper one seems to be holding up at the mo, gets a bit hot though it was only £20 inc delivery from amazon

Packed my living room full of stuff for Il Giogo Pass, ready to transfer to my car in the morning.
And made some more slip on shoulder titles/div insignia for said game.

(well yesterday) I got my PpSh firing properly again, not spewing out bbs at random whenever and where ever it felt like it. Shoots nicely now with good range but I have somehow disabled semi-auto. Oh well who uses that on an SMG anyway? I also disabled the blowback (on purpose) as I knew it would give up the ghost sometime and knowing my luck it would be in the middle of the forest at Schaulen.
